En el Ceip Santiago Apóstol un experto micólogo ha dado una clase magistral a los alumnos de primero de primaria.

FIESTA DEL OTOÑO

El Ceip Santiago Apóstol le da la bienvenida al otoño disfrutando de una degustación de frutos típicos de estas fechas.

ALFARERÍA EN EL AULA

Los alumnos del Ceip Santiago Apóstol, realizaron trabajos de alfarería, gracias a la colaboración del alfarero profesional D. Pedro Gómez Saez, él nos trajo un torno y arcilla y nos enseñó la técnica para trabajarla.

ARTE COMESTIBLE - EDIBLE ART

El alumnado del primer ciclo, con la colaboración de las madres de algunos alumnos, realizaron para  celebrar el día de Europa unos trabajos con frutas y verduras, que a continuación se exponen.

The students of the first cycle, in collaboration with the mothers and other students, created for the celebration of the Day of Europe some works with fruit and vegetables, which is then shown.

ARE YOU READY?

El colegio participó en ARE YOU READY?, programa-concurso de Canal Sur, que tiene como objetivo el repaso del inglés y acercarlo al público de una forma divertida. El alumnado de 6º curso realizó su participación en martes (24-04-2012).

The school participated in "ARE YOU READY¨?"  It is a contest program of Canal Sur.  They students had the opportunity to review their English and become closer to the public in a fun way.  The students of the 6th grade participated on Tuesday (24-04-2012).

VISITA DE LA SEÑORA DELEGADA -THE VISIT OF THE SENOR DELEGATE

La señora Delegada de la Consejería de Educación de Jaén, Doña Angustias María Rodríguez Ortega, realizó una visita al centro y como presente se le obsequió con una cesta de frutas, al igual que a la señora alcaldesa Doña María de la Paz del Moral Milla.

The senor delegate of the Ministry of Education of Jaén, Doña Angustias María Rodríguez Ortega, made a visit to the centro and presented a fruit basket and gave the same to to Mayor Doña María de la Paz del Moral Milla.

INSTRUMENTOS CON COMIDA - INSTRUMENTS WITH FOOD

Los alumnos de 5º curso de Educación Primaria han realizado un taller de elaboración de instrumentos musicales con productos reciclados de alimentación. 

El instrumento es un rasca-nuez.

The students in the 5th grade have conducted a workshop making musical instruments with recycled products.  The instrument is called a scratch-nut.

MATERIALES PARA LA REALIZACIÓN:

• Cáscaras de nuez.
• Una tabla o tapa dura de libreta.
• Pegamento.
• Palillos chinos.
• Rotuladores.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

• Nutshells
• A piece of wood or a back of a hard book
• Glue
• Chopsticks
• Markers

ELABORACIÓN:
Las cáscaras de nuez, que deben tener cortadas por la mitad y su base debe ser uniforme para que peguen bien, se pegan en la tabla o tapa dura de libreta; con los rotuladores se decoran y una vez seco el pegamento utilizamos el palillo chino como baqueta para sacarle el sonido.

PREPARATION:
The nutshells must be cut in half and their bases must be the same in order to stick well to the piece of wood or the back of a hard book.  Use the markers to decorate.  Once the glue has dried, use the chopsticks to get the sound.

Estos talleres han estado coordinados por los maestros de Educación Musical y Plástica, D.  José Antonio Molina y  Dª. Encarna Anguita y están dentro del Programa de "Educación para una Alimentación Saludable" que está desarrollando en centro, incluido en el PROYECTO COMENIUS.

These workshops have been coordinated by the teachers of Musical and Plastic Education, D. Jose Antonio Molina and Da. Encarna Anguita, and are part of the program "Education for Healthy Eating" that is being developed in the school through the Comenius Project.

CHARLA SOBRE ALIMENTACIÓN SALUDABLE - PRESENTATION ABOUT HEALTHY EATING

El lunes 12 de marzo D.Marcial Medina, médico escolar, dio una charla, en el salón de actos del Ceip Santiago Apóstol, sobre cómo debe ser una alimentación sana y equilibrada para que el alumnado de Educación Primaria y de la ESO tenga un rendimiento adecuado en el trabajo escolar.

On Monday, March 12, D. Marcail Medina, school doctor, gave a presentation in the meeting room of CEIP Santiago Apóstol about how to maintain a healthy and balanced diet for which the students and the ESO can incorporate into their school work.

ENCUENTRO COMENIUS - COMENIUS MEETING

El pasado martes 6 de marzo se produjo un encuentro en Andújar de 15 centros participantes en el PROYECYO COMENIUS junto a la Señora Delegada de Educación de Jaén, Doña Angustias María Rodríguez Ortega. Los representantes del nuestro centro (Ceip Santiago Apóstol, de Valdepeñas de Jaén) fueron el Señor director D. Juan Infante y la Sñra jefa de estudios Dña. Dulce Aceituno.

The past Tuesday, March 6, a meeting was held in Andújar by the Executive of Education of Jaén, Doña Angustias María Rodríguez Ortega, for the 15 schools participating in the Comenius Project.  The representatives of our school (CEIP Santiago Apóstol in Valdepeñas de Jaén) were director D. Juan Infante and the director of studies, Doña. Dulce Aceituno.

CARNAVAL APETITE - APETITE CARNAVAL

En el cole se celebró el carnaval y aprovechando este día los alumnos se disfrazaron con una temática dedicada a la alimentación:   con caretas de fruta y de cocineros.

In the school, the students celebrated the Carnaval by coloring masks.  They combined the Carnaval with the Comenius Project by coloring masks in the theme of fruits.

PIRÁMIDE DE LOS ALIMENTOS - FOOD PYRAMID

Es la representación gráfica de las raciones recomendadas de consumo de cada grupo de alimentos en un determinado periodo de tiempo (diario, semanal).

Es la mejor guía cualitativa y en ella queda patente que la base de la alimentación son los cereales, tubérculos, hortalizas, frutas y legumbres (carbohidratos) junto con la leche y derivados (base de la pirámide).

It is the graphical representation of the recommended portions of each food group that a person should consume in a specific period of time (daily, weekly).

It is the best cualitative guide and it clearly shows that the basis of foods are cereals, fruits, grains and vegetables (carbohydrates) combined with milk and dairy products (the base of the pyramid).
